Genuine Tecumseh 640084B OEM Carburetor for Lawn Mower & Garden Equipment - Replaces 640084A - Perfect for Small Engine Repair & Maintenance

I own a small engine repair shop. I ordered this carburetor to repair a customers snowblower. After installing this carburetor. The engine ran horrible. I removed the carburetor and took it apart to see what was causing the issue. Upon inspection of the carburetor, I noticed that it was missing the Welch plug on the inside of the carburetor. How this got past quality control is beyond me. I’m going to take the usable parts from this carburetor and rebuild the old carburetor that I removed from the snowblower. I’m very dissatisfied with this purchase.
