Actually has the correct thread. This is not npt. Nps is what most spray guns have. Yes, npt kinda fits but this is correct. Just too expensive for what it is.When I bought this item it had a picture of a male and female end and was listed DeVILBISS Quick Disconnect AIR BAYONET COUPLER - HC-4419 I received just the female end. I planned on returning the item, however, I would have to pay for shipping back, which is not worth getting a refund. Below is the picture that showed when I purchased the item.high flow connection for spray painting. Works great with associated devilbiss connections. Note normal 1/4 connections may leak if combined with the high flow ones. I knew that before hand.I bought a devilbiss tekna & realised the gun can give optimum performance with this hi flow fitting. I will surely buy a couple more for my other pneumatic tools. After screwing this to the gun the slip on portion was to big and wouldn't fit the hose so I wasted my money. You get what you pay for.
