We had just bought ourselves a 46" LCD and absolutely did not want to mount it on the wall. BUT we have a little girl (she was 6 at the time) that we were very worried about being near the TV. We did not have any prior experience with LCDs and the base was so small and narrow that we were sure one good accidental push from her and it'd be a goner. So anyway, we're cruising through IKEA and we see these straps holding the TVs down. They're small enough not to be a big eyesore and when we tried to wiggle the TVs they were solid. The guy at the store told us they ordered them all from Amazon and sure enough here they are. So we ordered us a set immediately.Now, we never did end up using them for our TV since it turns out our stand is actually pretty solid on its own but these really are excellent strips that will definitely not fail to secure whatever it is that needs securing.
